MAG BR FR ET HI REX," which translates to "Charles, by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland." The reverse presents a classic Stuart design showcasing a beautifully detailed crowned quartered shield of arms, bordered by the traditional motto "FLORENT CONCORDIA REGNA" ("Through concord kingdoms flourish").
